Kit is a crucial element of Ten Tors. As such, to avoid any confusion, here is a (hopefully) comprehensive list of all necessary items!

Rule: to be robust and wind proof. Typical acceptable standard is Army style light weight green trousers. Tracksters will ONLY be accepted if EACH pair is accompanied by a set of thermal trousers (which are strongly recommended regardless of trouser type). |
Gaiters |

Recommended but not obligatory. The school has some pairs but cannot guarantee that there will be enough for all participants. Especially useful for walks on Exmoor and Dartmoor. |
