During a normal day on the moors your body burns approximately 4500kcal.
Pork pies, shortbread, flapjacks, peanut butter, fruitcake, jam, honey, muesli bars, oat cakes and primula are all great sources of slow burn energy.
Fruit and veg will not give you much energy, so you can cope without for a couple of days!
