Year 9t - Autumn Term

At the moment Year 9 are studying the books "Witch Child", "Stone Cold", "Tulip Touch" and "Coram Boy". The class has been split into four groups, each group studying one of the four books of their choice. Most of the students prefer this approach to the normal whole class and one book routine.  The types of books vary: "Witch Child" a book set in the Medieval Ages about a girl called Mary, granddaughter of a witch; "Stone Cold" is about a serial killer who targets the homeless; "Tulip Touch" is about a girl who plays mind games manipulating her friends, til she has none; "Coram Boy" is about a young boy, a slave, and his journey.
